Hi, I’m Melissa

Married for ten years, I’m a wife to Russell and a mom to our daughter, Presley. Growing up, I’ve always had an interest in interior design and decorating. One memory I have, and I think may have helped jumpstart my dream, is going to the Street of Dreams when I was younger with my parents. I remember walking through each house and soaking in everything they had to offer. I was in my element and loved every minute of it. It seems as if I was following my mom’s footsteps as well. She has always been into decorating and has always had a knack for it so the apple definitely doesn’t fall far from the tree!

I love a good find. Something preferably old and a little rusty usually works for me! I’ve told my husband for years, “I want this…but I want it to look or be old even though it’s new to us.” After ten years, I think he is finally realizing what I mean! I want chippy pieces and things that have character. I love antiques and always have. Ideally, it should have an interesting history, something you can’t find at a department store. And I absolutely love textures.

I have so many hopes for our future farm! Besides animals, I already have a design for my garden. I want our daughter growing up outside with animals and living the country life! It’s going to be dreamy. I just know it!
